Privacy Policy – Flora Focus

Who is responsible
The data controller is Piotr Recław, the author of the Flora Focus app (Android and iOS). Privacy contact: p.reclaw@gmail.com.
In short
- You can use the app without an account. Your data then stays on your device.
- There are no ads, no tracking, and we do not sell data.
- An account is only needed to sync data between devices. You can delete it inside the app.
What data we process

Device permissions
- Location: only for weather; you can decline.
- Camera and photos: to take and display photos of plants and seed packets.
- Notifications: task reminders created on the device.
Who we share data with
We use Google Firebase (sign-in, database, plant catalog downloads), Sign in with Google and Apple (if you use them), Open-Meteo (weather and place search) and the GUGiK geoportal (parcels and orthophoto). We do not sell data and do not share it with advertisers.
The plant catalog comes from public sources. Plant photos show the author and licence in the plant details.
How long we keep data
Data on your device is kept until you delete the app or its data. Account data is kept until you delete the account.
Your rights and account deletion
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port your data and to object, as well as to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).
Deleting your account: in the app go to Profile → “Delete account”. This removes your cloud data (the account and synced data). Local data stays on the device until you delete it. You can also email the contact address above.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will announce material changes in the app or on this page. The date of the latest update is at the top.
